The Verde Island Passage Marine Biodiversity Conservation is one of the richest fishing grounds and top tourist destinations in the Philippines. It forms part of the Mindoro–Calavite-Tablas Triangle, bounded in the north by the province of Batangas, in the south by Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, in the west by the Lubang Islands and the Luzon Sea and in the east by Tayabas Bay.
